Striped Mod Lounge Chair
This Mod lounge chair was a "customize" piece clients picked out as an accent chair for their living room. The couple chose a mainly blue, striped fabric with pops of orange, brown, and gold for a bit of a retro feel. The pattern fits perfectly on the chair - it centers well across the width, and the accent stripes run down the entire front of the chair. The pattern was matched along the top, sides, and back of the piece as well. Many, tiny custom buttons were added to pull the fabric taut and give the piece a subtle tufted look. Finally, the arms and legs were refinished in a 'honey' color stain to complement the fabric, and a few brass nailheads were added at the legs.
