Side Table Turned Pet Bed
A client had this octagon side table as part of a set of furniture from her great aunt and thought it would be repurposed well as an end table with a nook for her dog underneath. The table top was sanded and stained a dark, warm brown, and the exterior was painted a dark gray. A lighter gray was used to brighten the interior and highlight the French Provincial accents on the outside. One of the table's doors was removed so the dog can gain access to the inside and sit on a small bed sewn out of adorable doggie fabric.
