Patterned Taupe Club Chair
This vintage club chair was attacked by a cat in need of a scratching post. The client liked the shape of the chair and wanted to reupholster it to fit the decor of her bedroom. The legs were sanded and kept natural by rubbing them with hemp seed oil. The inside of the chair was upholstered in a soft, textured taupe while the outside and back had an aqua, taupe, and white diamond patterned print. The seat cushion had the pattern on the top and bottom accented by the taupe in between, and the pillow was made double-sided to flip occasionally for a different look. The entire piece was piped with white welt cording to add a bit of contrast to the chair.
