Blue Velvet Sofa
This antique wood frame sofa is part of a set that has been owned by various members of the client's family over the years. The client wanted to update 70's striped velvet upholstery and give it a new, timeless look. The frame was re-stained in places to touch up nicks and scratches and allow them to blend in. For upholstery, the client chose a beautiful and soft navy velvet for the front of the sofa and cushion that complements the red mahogany frame. The back has an eye-catching navy and red medallion print, and the entire piece was finished with navy velvet double welt cording. Now, this sofa will keep an honored place in the family for many more years.
