Round Tiger Oak Table
This antique clawfoot dining table came from an estate in Friendship where the beautiful tiger oak was hidden under years of dirt and grime. The solid wood top was well sanded until the wood was smooth and the tiger oak highlighted. The entire piece was re-stained and sealed with several clear protective coats. The base is a thick veneer which is also in good shape minus some chips along the horizontal band that aren't easily visible from above. The clawfeet are intricately carved complete with visible toenails and come on casters. This table does have the ability to expand, however, there is no leaf or additional leg supports. It is a 54" round which seats 4 very comfortably and could fit up to 6.
