Round Gray Antiqued Table

This round occasional table originally had peeling veneer top and chipping paint along the frame. The table top veneer was removed to reveal rough wood boards underneath, which were stained a dark walnut for a rustic look. Because this wood was intended as a support surface, it still has a rough feel even after sanding and has two slight splits between piece of wood. The frame got a few coats of a medium gray before a dark gray was applied using a dry brush technique. This highlighted the turned wood legs and frame details giving the piece an antiqued look. This piece is a nice size for an entry or hall table or as a table between two side chairs. 28" diameter by 28" tall.
