Japenese Toile Lyre Back Chairs
The client found this set of lyre back chairs at Construction Junction and wanted to update them for her dining room. The chairs had some flaking varnish and many of the legs needed to be reinforced with wood glue. The client chose a great Japanese toile fabric with many vignettes and small amounts of bright colors. We pull out a stunning duck-eye blue from the fabric to paint the chair frames. The chairs were also distressed to add some much needed depth to the lyre backs and legs.
