Grandma Dot's Sewing Chair
This was my Grandma Dot's chair that she used at her sewing machine when she made baby's blankets, Christmas stocking, etc. My grandpa passed the chair down to me to use with her trusty workhorse sewing machine I got from my aunt. Until I can find a place for the set, my mom is keeping the chair, so I refinished it to match her decor. It's been stained a reddish brown, and the seat upholstered in a large print red ikat to complement the stain. It's a lovely modern update to a simple little chair.
