French Cane Chair with Birdie Fabric
This single French Provincial cane chair was in desperate need of an update. The cane is in beautiful condition, so the entire frame was painted a taupe color with General Finishes Milk Paint in Millstone. Then, it was distressed for a more weathered look before being sealed with General Finishes High Performance Topcoat. The foam and padding was replaced on the seat before it was upholstered with an whimsical birdie fabric in yellow, orange, red and brown. This chair would work well at a vanity or to use at a desk.
