Drop Front Secretary
This drop front secretary desk was found in an estate in Friendship covered in layers of dust. The wood was worn on the drawer fronts, and it needed color to highlight all its features. Old Fashioned Milk Paint was used in a medium green for the exterior and a light cream for the interior. The paint chipped and flaked in various spots for some added character, and it was sealed with soft wax. New glass knobs were put on the drawers, and the interior also has a removable letter holder. This piece would be great as extra storage in an entry or hallway.
