Chippy Wardrobe and Dresser

This dark wood wardrobe and dresser set was brought to me by a client who wanted them refinished for her daughter's room. She loves the chippy look of milk paint and wanted a level of imperfect and character in the pieces. The dark wood on the tops and vertical pieces of the wardrobe and dresser and the mirror frame was sanded and re-stained a similar color. A mixture of Old Fashioned Milk Paint Buttermilk and Light Cream was used to paint the sides and drawer fronts of the pieces, and it was allowed to chip naturally. A light sanding removed any additional flaking paint, and the pieces were sealed to prevent further chipping.
