Burgundy Victorian Buffet
This Victorian buffet is a solidly built piece with beautiful turned legs, decorative cross bracing, and intricate details on the doors. The piece needed a little brightening up, so it was painted in Old Fashioned Milk Paint Company Salem Red. To darken the color a bit and add age to the piece, a dark stain was applied to the paint to turn it a burgundy color. The top surface was unable to be re-stained, so it was painted in a light cream and also aged and slightly distressed. Original pulls add even more character to the piece. This buffet would be a gorgeous focal point in any formal dining room. 71" x 22" by 37" tall
