Steamer Trunk Wardrobe
This vintage steamer trunk was found in the dark recesses of a basement during an estate sale. It was lovingly used, but still in great shape considering its age. Listed on the "customize" page of the website, a client found it and wanted to transform it into a modern day portable wardrobe. Yellow was selected to cover the outside of the trunk, and the metal supports and brass hinges were cleaned up and shined. On the interior, a Japanese cherry blossom wallpaper was used to line the entire trunk, and a soft pink fabric covered and lined the trunk drawers. Finally, a new modern hanging rod was installed and four hooks were added on the pop-up lid.
