Ladderback Chairs & Foundry Bench
These pieces were refinished to fit at my own long monastic dining table. The two ladderback chairs were a set I already owned and painted shades of two-toned blue to match an old table. The work bench was found in a junk pile at my husband's workplace and was most likely used as lunch bench when the foundry still existed on site. The bench had been sitting outside for years and this created an unique, weathered surface. Both pieces were painted a creamy white with the bench getting a dry brush technique on the seat to emphasis the pocked surface. The ladderback chairs also got a bit of distressing to fit in with the rustic look of the bench.
